The Samsung Galaxy M51 from last year paved a new way for Samsung towards the mid-range market. Following that, the Galaxy F62, Galaxy A52, and the Galaxy A52s 5G were some worthy checkpoints in Samsung’s journey, and now we have one more.

Samsung Galaxy M52 5G: Specifications
The one thing which Samsung has always been proud of is the quality of its panels. No doubt, the 6.7″ FHD+ Super AMOLED+ display present here is gaze-worthy. In addition, the 120Hz refresh rate acts as a cherry on top. According to Samsung, the frame is just 7.4mm thick (21% slimmer than the previous model) and now comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 for protecting the front display.
Ever since Samsung bid goodbye to the Exynos 9611, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon processors became a new normal in their relatively expensive offerings. This time, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G 5G in the Galaxy M52 5G is no less than a powerhouse. With up to 8GB of RAM and support for 11 5G bands, the Galaxy M52 5G is present and future-proof.
There’s a triple camera setup on the back consisting of a 64MP primary, 12MP ultra-wide, and a 5MP macro sensor. The opposite side houses a 32MP selfie clicker having an aperture of f/2.2. The primary 64MP sensor can record videos in 4K resolution, and the handset comes with typical Samsung camera modes like Single Take, AR Mode, and a lot more.
Battery and charging are probably the only two things that witness a downgrade from the previous generation. Now, the Samsung Galaxy M52 5G packs a 5000mAh battery that supports 25W fast charging. Yes, you guessed it, it only comes with a 15W charger in-box. The device runs on full-fledged OneUI 3.1 based on Android 11.
Other miscellaneous features of the Galaxy M52 5G include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, single mono speakers, plastic back, 128GB of onboard storage (expandable up to 1TB via a microSD card), Knox 3.7 security, and other standard connectivity options like 4G VoLTE, Dual-Band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, etc. Sadly, there isn’t any 3.5mm headphone jack, and the handset has a hybrid SIM tray.
Pricing and Availability
The Galaxy M52 5G is Samsung’s most expensive M series phone so far. The number being ₹29,999 for the 6GB+128GB variant and ₹31,999 for the 8GB+128GB variant. The phone will be available in two colorways — Blazing Black and Icy Blue.
