Samsung Galaxy F62 Launched: Everything You Need to Know

Samsung just announced the Galaxy F62: its second phone in the F lineup after the F41. Its main features include a punch-hole display, a quad-camera setup, and an Octa-Core Exynos 9825 which debuted in 2019 with the Launch of the Note 10 Series.

Samsung Galaxy F62 Specifications

The Samsung Galaxy F62 sports a 6.7-inch Full HD + Super AMOLED Display with a centrally aligned punch hole which houses the 32 MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls. On the back the Galaxy F62 sports a quad-camera setup with the primary lens being a 64 MP Sony IMX 682 along with a 12 MP Ultra-Wide camera with a 123-degree field of view, a 5 MP Macro Camera, and another 5 MP shooter for depth information. Both the front and the rear camera on the Galaxy F62 can shoot in 4K, camera features also include Samsung’s Single Take which produces 10 photos, and 4 video outputs which a single click.

On the software side, the Galaxy F62 is running Samsung’s OneUI 3.1 based on Android 11. The Exynos 9825 is paired with 128 GB of storage (expandable via MicroSD) and either 6 or 8 GB of RAM. a 7,000 mAh battery provides power to the phone and juice up using the included 25W fast charger. The phone also supports reverse charging via a USB Type C to C cable.

Additional features on the Galaxy F62 include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, WIFi, GPS, NFC, and a 3.5mm Headphone Jack. The phone weighs 218 Grams and is about 9.8mm thick.

Samsung Galaxy F62 Price and Availability

The Samsung Galaxy F62 starts at Rs. 23,999 for the 6GB + 128 GB version, while the 8GB + 128GB version will cost Rs. 25,999. The phone will be available in three colorways: Laser Blue, Laser Green, and Laser Grey and will be available through Flipkart, Samsung.com, and Reliance Digital.
