Vivo X50, X50 Pro with New Gimbal Style Camera and TWS Earphone Neo launched in India

Vivo has announced their latest X50 and X50 Pro smartphones along with TWS Earphone Neo in India. The main attraction in smartphones are the cameras used and the features that it offers. These newly launched smartphones from the Chinese maker also supports 5G cellular as it uses the latest chipset from Qualcomm.

The Vivo mid-rangers that got announced have made a lot of noise before in the leaks and certification mediums. In the other markets, there were three devices launched, which includes the Vivo X50 Plus, but it’s an exception in India as they haven’t announced it. But the TWS earphones got launched along with these smartphones.

Vivo X50 Pro Specifications

Vivo X50 Pro

The X50 Pro features a 6.56-inches 90Hz curved AMOLED display with a Full HD+ Resolution. The screen is a punch-hole design that accommodates a 32MP selfie camera. The device gets powered by the Snapdragon 765G 5G processor coupled with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The fingerprint sensor is underneath the display. The battery capacity is of 4,315 mAh battery that supports fast-charging up to 33W.

The cameras are a show-stopper in this particular device as it comes with a 48MP primary lens, 13MP portrait lens, 8MP telephoto-periscopic lens, and an 8MP ultrawide angle lens. The primary camera has a gimbal-style stabilization, which helps to shoot videos and capture pictures smooth and blur-free. The 8MP telephone lens comes capable with 5x optical zoom and can go up to 60x hybrid zoom.

The standard X50 comes with a 6.56-inches Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The fingerprint sensor gets placed underneath the screen, and the punch-hole on the screen receives used to contain 32MP selfie camera. The smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 720G 5G, unlike the Pro version coupled with 8GB of RAM and 128/256 GB of internal storage.

The cameras are a bit different in the standard model as the Gimbal System, and the 8MP periscope module gets replaced with a 5MP macro unit, which gives the device a 48MP Primary sensor, 13MP portrait, and an 8MP ultra-wide. The smartphone supports 33W fast charging with a battery capacity of 4,200 mAh.

Vivo TWS Earphone Neo 

Vivo TWS Earphone Neo has also got launched along with the X-Series smartphone. They offer a wide variety of features such as touch controls, half in-ear design and gets powered by the Qualcomm’s QCC3046 chip. The driver systems used in these earphones are 14.2mm drivers.

The earphones also support features such as Dual-Beamforming microphones for AI Noise Cancelling, IP54 rating for water resistance, and support codecs such as aptX Adaptive, AAC, and SBC. The latency on Vivo’s TWS is very low with 88ms and runs on Bluetooth 5.2 that can deliver a music experience “CD quality” type.

The earphones packs in 27mAh battery, and the casing comes with a 415 mAh battery with 22.5 hours of playback in total. The battery case of the earphones has USB Type-C and can get fully charged in 100 minutes. The price of these TWS earphones is Rs. 5990 and come in Moonlight White and Starry Blue colors.

Vivo X50 and X50 Pro Price and Availability

The Pro version will be available in Alpha Grey color and comes with a price tag of Rs. 49,990. The standard version X50 flaunts in Frost Blue and Glaze Black and comes to at Rs. 34,999 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. The 8GB RAM and 256GB storage of X50 get priced at Rs. 37,990. The smartphones will get on sale from July 24 to stores such as Reliance Digital, Vijay Sales, and Croma. The Pre-orders are up at Amazon.in, Flipkart, Paytm Mall, and Tata CLiQ.
