Samsung’s Galaxy A-series is a popular choice for users opting for a mid-range smartphone from the manufacturer. The Galaxy A51 smartphone gets considered the best option, which has some useful features compared to the iPhone SE (2020) launched at similar price points.
There are some new leaks from a few certifications that are hinting for a cheap 5G smartphone under the Galaxy A-series segment from Samsung. The manufacturer has never pushed the 5G handsets at low-price but has produced devices such as their flagship S20 series with 5G connectivity.
Samsung Galaxy A42 5G Leaked Details
The Galaxy A42 got spotted on a listing with quite a few mentionable features and options on Chinese 3C. The listing has revealed that the device would come with 4,860 mAh as per the listing. Still, we usually can assume that the typical capacity should be exactly 5,000 mAh, which is the right amount of capacity for a 5G handset.
The smartphone is rumored as one of the first and cheapest mid-ranger from Samsung to come equipped with 5G connectivity. Many major manufacturers are making a quick switch from 4G to 5G as soon as possible. Still, the only issue is there are 5G network coverage providers around the globe, and a few countries have updated.
The other rumors from leaks have suggested that the Galaxy A42 smartphone will come with 128GB of internal storage. As said above, there is a less number of countries with 5G networks, and Samsung might launch it as a 4G only phone for the markets in which 5G isn’t yet available, which is going to happen in 2021.
