Poco has officially given out Over-the-Air (OTA) update for the newly launched Poco F2 Pro smartphone. The update from the manufacturer for F2 Pro comprises the Stable MIUI 12 OS, which is the latest version for the Mi devices currently this year. The F2 Pro launched in some of the European and Asian countries is a rebranded Redmi from other Asian markets.
The device is available in countries such as Europe, Indonesia, Russia, China, and in all these places, the update is available in OTA for downloading and installation. Most of the newly launched smartphones from Poco are the rebranded Redmi devices lately, and if the company continues this, then the trust in this brand will no longer sustain.
Poco F2 Pro Stable MIUI 12 Update Details
The smartphone’s new update will give some improvements to the UI and lessens the bugs and issues that were faced by the users before this update. The main changes in this MIUI 12 update are the improved design changes and added new features. The company has also prioritised some privacy concerns in MIUI devices through the update.
The users that have upgraded to this version may notice changes with the user interface and have improved the animations, which look much better than the previous version. The release has given out a new global developed dark theme as it’s a needed feature these days.
The Poco M2 Pro after its launch got criticised for shipping the device with Chinese apps in India even after banning them. The company has replied to this issue that they will rectify it, and now the update for F2 Pro has a more improved personal data security to ensure the safety of the users and their data.
The Poco F2 Pro after this update should perform even better as it comes with the high-end Snapdragon 865 SoC. The update should have also improved the primary 64MP quad rear camera setup for better captures. There’s no official information about the Poco F2 Pro’s launch in India yet but expected to arrive in August.
