Redmi Note 9 with MediaTek G85 and Quad-Cameras launched starting at Rs.11,999 in India

Redmi Note 9 has made it to India after the two mid-range launches from Xiaomi’s sub-brand, which are the Note 9 Pro and Note 9 Pro Max. The smartphone was teased on platforms such as Twitter by the official account handlers about its performance bump from the predecessor and other exciting details.

The Chinese manufacturer has ruled the mid-range and budget range segment of smartphones unprecedentedly, and after launching this device, they are trying to continue the same run. The Note 9 smartphone will contend with other rival brands like Oppo, Vivo, and mainly Realme, which manufacturers most of the smartphones at the same price category and gives a fierce competition.

Redmi Note 9 Specifications and Availability

Redmi Note 9 comes with a 6.53-inch full-HD+ punch-hole display that supports 19.5:9 aspect ratio and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The MediaTek G85 SoC powers the Note 9 coupled with 4/6 GB of RAM and 64/128 GB of internal storage. The smartphone can withstand water due to the splash-proof nano-coating used.

The camera set-up is Quad-lens that features a 48MP Samsung ISOCELL Bright GM1 primary sensor with f/1.79 aperture, an 8MP secondary ultrawide sensor with f/2.2 aperture and a duo of 2MP sensors with f/2.4 aperture that shoots macro and depth pictures. The front-facing camera is a 13MP sensor placed in the punch-hole.

Redmi Note 9 has all the necessary connectivity features such as the 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C port. The fingerprint sensor gets placed on the rear, and the device has a battery capacity of 5,020mAh that supports a 22.5W fast charging and also supports reverse charging at 9W.

The Redmi Note 9 will get flaunted in three colors, which are Aqua Green, Arctic White, and Pebble Grey. Note 9 comes in three variants, a 4GB RAM and 64GB storage for Rs. 11,999, a 6GB RAM and 64GB storage at Rs. 13,499,  the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage version is priced at Rs. 14,999. The Redmi Note 9 will start selling on July 24 at noon officially from Amazon India.
