The OnePlus 9 Series Launch is growing ever closer. A while back it was reported that the OnePlus 9 Series will include a third device called the 9e. Now, we are getting to know more details about the OnePlus 9e which may be called the OnePlus 9 lite. The OnePlus 9 Series will launch mid-march which is earlier than OnePlus’s usual launch schedule.
OnePlus 9 Lite Specs
Unlike the more expensive OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro which will be powered by the Snapdragon 888, the 9 Lite is rumoured to be powered by the Snapdragon 865. The OnePlus 9 Lite will be similar in specifications to the OnePlus 8T which will include a 90 Hz or 120 Hz flat display along with 65W fast charging.
The OnePlus 9 Lite could undercut the 8T is price with some more cutbacks such as a plastic rear panel instead of glass. Since this is may be lower in price, IP certification and Wireless charging may be out of the question.
The OnePlus 9 Lite may also feature a similar camera system to the OnePlus 8T though not much is know about the cameras at this point of time. The OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro however may have a completely redesigned camera system with the possibility of them being Leica Branded. It is rumoured that the OnePlus 9 will come with a triple camera system with a 50 MP main camera, 20 MP Ultra Wide camera and a 12 MP telephoto camera unlike the OnePlus 8 which also featured a waste of space Macro camera along with the Ultrawide and Main sensors.
OnePlus 9 Lite Price
The OnePlus 9 Lite could be priced at $600 which is approximately Rs. 44,200 which undercuts the OnePlus 8T which started at $750. The phone may release for less in India like past OnePlus phones due to intense competition in the market from Xiaomi and Realme.
