Everytime, you ask someone about OnePlus, they will most likely say, Great Software, Great Performance but Mediocre Cameras. That might be changing since the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro which will be launching mid- march are rumoured to come with Leica branded Cameras.
OnePlus CEO, Pete Lau in an interview with Input Mag said the company is working on improving the cameras on their phones “with a bigger focus on software and hardware.” Neither he nor OnePlus has announced the partnership with Leica so please take this with a pinch of salt. This new piece of information was leaked by a twitter user Teme (@RODENT950). He claims that the OnePlus 9 Series will sport Leica branded cameras.
Recently, the OnePlus 9 was spotted in the wild, credits to PhoneArena. The phone was spotted with a triple camera setup with two large sensors and a third smaller sensors. The two large sensors are rumoured to be the Main and Ultrawide, but the function of the third sensor is not yet known.
The OnePlus 9 Pro is rumoured to come with a quad camera setup, again with two large sensors and two additional smaller sensors. The phone will also come with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 888. The phone may also feature a QHD+ 144Hz curved display with a punch hole and smaller bezels.
The OnePlus 9 on the other hand will come with a triple camera setup at the back along with a punch hole at the front. The OnePlus 9 will come with a FHD+ 120 Hz flat display and smaller bezels compared to previous generations.
