A few weeks left for the launch of the OnePlus 8 series, and as the launch date nears, many details are flowing on the internet. Today, a good look at the OnePlus 8 colors gave us a visual treat. There’s a new Interstellar Glow, which does look splendid indeed.
OnePlus 8 Colors Leak
A set of leaks from WinFuture and Ishan Agarwal gave us a great look at the official renders of the OnePlus 8, the low-end model of the OnePlus 8 series. These are the most significant leaks of OnePlus 8 colors so far, and they do reveal a lot more than just colors.
A previous leak from Ishan Agarwal has already given us the insights regarding the OnePlus 8 colors. Apart from that, we do not see any specifications leaks, though. As the previous leak suggests, the OnePlus 8 will come in three colors – Black, Green, and Glow. While we weren’t sure of the looks in the previous leak, we got a good look at them now. Into the details, the OnePlus 8 Colors will call them Onyx Black, Glacial Green, and Interstellar Glow.
The Interstellar Glow is the color that got everyone’s eyes pinned on the screen. It possesses a gradient design and shifts the color hue depending on the lighting conditions. This color resembles the Aura Glow color variant of the Galaxy Note 10.
Given the looks, we can probably see a Matte Finish coating on the OnePlus 8 series. The gradient hue includes a shift between purple, red, and amber colors. In our opinion, it looks marvelous.
The only thing that concerns us is that the Interstella Glow color might not come for the OnePlus 8 Pro. They may release it later as an exclusive edition or something, or OnePlus might be cooking something else for the 8 Pro maybe.
The Onyx Black is just a dull black color, just like we saw on the previous models of OnePlus. But Onyx Black seems a little more black compared to the previous OnePlus devices. We don’t know if it is the glass on the back, which is leading us to that conclusion or not. It now looks more like an AMOLED screen, as is our opinion.
The glass on top might result in fingerprints, but that’s a story for later once the device is out. Just like the Interstellar Glow, the black variant might also have a matte finish to the glass.
As a new member of the OnePlus colors family, the Glacial Green is something that OnePlus seems to be going out of the box. It looks good but yet a little too much green in our opinion. The Glacial Green looks more like a mix of teal and green.
Our personal opinion gives a little liking to this color as well but not as much as the Interstellar Glow or the Onyx Blue. It might differ in real-life usage, though. We have to wait and keep an eye on it.
If the present reports are accurate, the OnePlus 8 series will release on April 15th. What do you think about these OnePlus 8 colors? Which one was your favorite? Let us know in the comments below.
