Vivo has finally unveiled its Vivo X80 Pro in the Indian market. Vivo is expanding its flagship X-series lineup by introducing the Vivo X80 Pro 5G. Vivo X80 Pro 5G is a high-performing smartphone enabling a seamless operative experience.
The Vivo X80 Pro 5G sports a 6.56-inch AMOLED Full HD+ display with a 1440 x 3200 pixels resolution. Vivo X80 Pro is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. Let’s look at the Vivo X80 Pro’s specifications, pricing, and availability.
Vivo X80 Pro 5G: Specifications
The Vivo X80 Pro 5G sports a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with 2K resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate making it better for gaming experience and content playback. The handset features a display with an aspect ratio of 20:9 along with a pixel density of 401 PPI and a screen-to-body ratio of 92.22%.
In addition, the Vivo X80 Pro supports a bezel-less display along with a punch-hole notch present at the center top. The Vivo X80 Pro is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, paired with 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage type. However, the handset lacks microSD card support for expandable storage.
The Vivo X80 Pro runs OriginOS Ocean and is based on Android 12. The Vivo X80 Pro 5G features a Qualcomm 3D Sonic Max-based large ultrasonic fingerprint reader for biometric authentication and security. The handset also features an IP68 rating for dust and water protection.
In terms of imaging and photography, the Vivo X80 Pro 5G features a quad-camera setup at the rear comprising a 50MP primary camera that uses a Samsung GNV sensor, a 48MP Sony IMX598 ultra-wide sensor, a 12MP portrait camera, and an 8MP periscope camera with 60X digital zoom. At the front, the Vivo X80 Pro 5G features a 32MP selfie shooter for snapping selfies and video chatting. The handset includes a new cinematic video mode built in collaboration with Zeiss.
The Vivo X80 Pro 5G is backed by a 4,700mAh battery with 80W fast charging support and also supports wireless charging. In terms of connectivity, the Vivo X80 Pro 5G features dual-SIM card support, 5G, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v5.2, GPS, OTG support, NFC, and a USB Type-C port for charging and file transfer.
Other sensors include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, compass/ magnetometer, gyroscope, and proximity sensor. The Vivo X80 Pro measures 164.6 x 75.3 x 9.1 mm and weighs 215 grams.

The Vivo X80 Pro is priced at Rs. 79,999 ($910) for the 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage configuration. The Vivo X80 Pro is only available in the Cosmic Black color. The Vivo X80 Pro will be available on May 25 through pre-bookings via Flipkart, Vivo’s online web portal, and authorized offline retailers.
