The Sony WH-1000XM5 has launched sooner than expected. The flagship headphones are packed with even more features than its predecessor, the WH-1000XM4. Sony has found the perfect elements to develop a fantastic flagship headphone looking forward to dominating the market.
The XM5 is sure a luxury headphone with premium noise-canceling features. The flagship headphone comes with a headphone case, a new exquisite design, and a higher rate.
Specifications and Features
The WH-1000XM5 sports a new design, what Sony calls a “Noiseless Design.” It features a stepless slider that helps you adjust the size with great ease. But surprisingly, like its predecessor, the headphones aren’t foldable.
The package is said to contain no plastic. The headphone is also made using recyclable plastic materials. The headphone flaunts the newly developed Integrated Processor V1 and Sony’s existing HD noise-canceling processor. Sony also confirms the presence of 30mm drivers that helps to improve the noise-canceling experience further.
Sony has improved the audio quality in its new headphones. It has two integrated processors handling all the information and no less than eight microphones to take the audio quality to the next level.
The headphones also have a lead-free solder that contains gold for better connectivity. It supports a new Quick Access feature with which you can easily playback on Spotify without the need to pick up your device. The headphones also support Fast Pair for Android and Swift Pair for Windows.
The XM5 retains many features from its older XM4 model, features as Adaptive Sound Control, Speak-to-Chat, and 360 Reality Audio, plus it supports Google Home and Amazon Alexa.
The device has a fantastic battery life of 30 hours, and you can get up to 3 hours of playback time with a three-minute charge. The headphones are available in two different colors- Black and Silver.
Price and Availability
The WH-1000XM5 will be available at the end of May. The headphones are up for pre-order on their official site. Sony’s WH-1000XM5 headphones are available at $399.
