Samsung Galaxy M33, Galaxy M23 Along with Galaxy A13 and Galaxy A23 Announced

Samsung has announced multiple mid-range smartphones in the Samsung Galaxy M-series and A-Series. The newly unveiled smartphones from the Korean brand include the Samsung Galaxy M33, Samsung Galaxy M23, along with Galaxy A13 and A23. These new smartphones come with a similar set of specifications, although slight differences in the camera and design departments. Samsung Galaxy M33 and M23 Specifications

The Samsung Galaxy M33 and M23 sport a 6.6-inch TFT Infinity-V full-HD+ display with a screen resolution of 1080 × 2408 pixels. The displays support a high refresh rate of 120Hz, an aspect ratio of 20:9, and a water-drop notch. The batteries on the new duo feature a 6000mAh cell on the M33 and a 5000mAh cell on the Galaxy M23.

However, the internals of the Galaxy M33 includes an octa-core Exynos 1200 coupled with up to 8 GB of RAM and up to 128 GB of internal storage with expandability. The Galaxy M23 comes with an octa-core Snapdragon 750G chipset with 4 GB RAM 128 GB of internal storage. Both M23 and M33 smartphones run on Samsung’s custom One UI 4.1 based on Android 12.

The camera modules on the M33 come with a quad-camera setup that includes a 50MP primary camera with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro lens. The triple camera setup features the same set of sensors; however, it lacks the 2MP macro shooter in the M23. The front-facing camera on both handsets comes with an 8MP shooter for selfies and video calling. Besides, the specific design change includes a squared-off camera on the M33 and a regular one on the M23.

The Galaxy A13 and the A23 sport a similar display from the M-series of handsets, featuring a 6.6-inch TFT Infinity-V full-HD+ display with a screen resolution of 1080 × 2408 pixels. The processor details on the Galaxy A13 and A23 are not known yet, but the storage options include up to 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage on both handsets.

However, the Samsung Galaxy A13 arrives in three different storage options, and on the contrary, the A23 comes in only two other storage options. The camera setup of the A13 and A23 come with quad sensors featuring a 50MP primary wide senors, a 5MP ultra-wide camera, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro camera. The front-facing camera on both smartphones includes 8MP sensors housed in the water-drop notch of the display.

The only differences between the Galaxy A13 and A23 include different storage options and the change of processors speeds, such as a 2.4Ghz clock speed on the A23 and a 1.9Ghz on A13. These new arrivals in the A-series run on Samsung’s custom One UI 4.1 based on Android 12 and tag along with a battery capacity of 5000mAh, supporting 25W fast charging.

Price and Availability

The Samsung Galaxy M33 will flaunt in Green, Blue, Brown, and M23 in Deep Green and Light Blue shades. Speaking of the A-series, the Samsung Galaxy A13 and A23 will arrive in Blue, Peach, White, and Black color options. Samsung has not unveiled the pricing of these smartphones officially, but reports suggest that all these new handsets will price below $250 or Rs. 20,000.
