Samsung is currently reported to be working on the Galaxy M22 mid-range smartphone. The Samsung Galaxy M22 has moved a step closer to launch as it bagged Bluetooth certification. The handset has been spotted on Bluetooth SIG’s database, which means that it is closer than ever to its launch date.
The phone has been listed with the model number SM-M225FV_DS and carries support for Bluetooth 5.0 with LE (Low Energy) and EDR (Enhanced Data Rate) and DS (Dual-Sim support). US FCC certification hints that the handset may even support Bluetooth v5, NFC, and Wi-Fi 802.11ac connectivity.
Samsung Galaxy M22: Expected Specifications
The Samsung Galaxy M22 is expected to feature a 6.4-inch Super-AMOLED display that offers an HD+ resolution. The handset is likely to be powered by the MediaTek Helio G80 chipset.
It’ll go with 4GB/6GB RAM, 64GB/128GB internal storage, and a microSD card slot. The Samsung Galaxy M22 may run on Android 11 software based on One UI skin on top as well.
In terms of photography, the Samsung Galaxy M22 is expected to feature a quad-camera setup at the rear which include a 48-megapixel primary lens ,a 8-megapixel camera, a 2-megapixel lens, and a 2-megapixel lens.
At the front, the handset is expected to feature a 13-megapixel selfie snapper for selfies and video chatting. As we know, the Samsung Galaxy A22 is backed by a 5,000mAh battery, the Samsung Galaxy M22 may house a larger 6,000mAh battery with 25W charging support.
But you’ll have to spend extra money if you want those charging speeds since the default adapter will only go up to 15W. The Samsung Galaxy M22 connectivity options may include Bluetooth v5, NFC, LTE, GPS , Wi-Fi b/g/n/ac, USB Type-C port for charging, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The Samsung Galaxy M21 was announced with a price tag of Rs 12,999 in India. The Samsung Galaxy M22 is likely to arrive with similar pricing in the country as well. The Samsung Galaxy M22 is expected to arrive in black, white, and blue color variants.
