Redmi is gearing up to launch its Redmi Note 11 4G variant globally. However, according to a tipster, the smartphone might not be the same as the Chinese variant. According to a report, the Redmi Note 11 4G global variant will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 680 chipset rather than the MediaTek Helio G88 SoC present in the Chinese version.
The report also claims that the upcoming Redmi Note 11 4G Global variant will retail for about $199 (Rs. 15,000) for the base 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Redmi Note 11 4G Global variant is said to launch in other memory storage configurations such as 6GB+128GB and 8GB+128GB. In addition, the report hasn’t revealed the price details of the smartphone as well.
The Redmi Note 11 4G variant will be a budget-friendly smartphone as it would be more affordable than the Note 11T 5G that is priced at Rs 16,999. According to a report, Xiaomi is expected to launch the Note 11 Pro and Note 11 Pro Max in the first quarter of next year. Redmi Note 11 4G is expected to sport a 6.5-inch FHD+ LCD that offers a 90Hz refresh rate for better gaming experience and content playback, a 180Hz touch sampling rate, and a 1500:1 aspect ratio.
The smartphone is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Helio G88 chipset, coupled with 4 and 6 GB LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. The device runs the MIUI 12.5 operating system based on Android 11 on top.
In terms of optics, the Redmi Note 11 4G features a triple-camera setup at the rear comprising a 50MP primary camera, an 8MP ultrawide lens with a 120-degree FOV, and a 2MP macro camera.
At the front, the smartphone features an 8MP selfie shooter for snapping selfies and video calling. The Redmi Note 11 4G is backed by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging and 9W reverse charging.

The Redmi Note 11T 5G is priced at Rs 16,999 for the 6GB RAM and 64GB storage variant, whereas the 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage variant is priced at Rs 17,999, and the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant will be priced at Rs 19,999.
