Realme has announced the launch of its next series of smartphones, the Realme 9 Series. Realme has officially confirmed that the Realme 9 series will launch soon and stated that more details regarding the next series would be unveiled on September 9.
In addition to the new series of smartphones, Realme is also adding its two new smartphones to the Realme 8 series. Also, Realme’s first-ever tablet, the Realme Pad, will make its official debut in Indian markets. The Realme Pad will make its entry along with the Realme 8s and Realme 8i.
According to a tweet from Francis Wong, the company launches two generations of Number & Pro every year, comprising one for H1 and another for H2. Francis Wong also stated that Realme has a big announcement on the upcoming 8s and 8i event commencing on September 9.
Currently, the key specifications and features of the Realme 9 series are unknown. However, according to leaks and speculations, the Realme 9 series might feature a MediaTek G95 chipset paired with 6GB of RAM. The handset might also feature Dynamic RAM Expansion technology. The Realme 8s is expected to feature a 6.5-inch display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The Realme 8s will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC chipset coupled with 8GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The handset is also expected to feature 5GB of Dynamic RAM Expansion.
In terms of optics, the Realme 8s is expected to feature a triple camera setup at the rear comprising a 64MP primary camera. At the front, the smartphone features a 16MP selfie shooter for snapping selfies and video chatting. The Realme 8s is expected to support 5G, and the smartphone houses a large 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support similar to the Realme 8i.
