Poco M4 5G has officially launched in India, arriving as a budget offering that features a MediaTek Dimensity chipset and Dual Cameras. The smartphone along with a 90Hz FHD water-drop notch display comes with a higher-touch sampling rate and a distinctive-looking back design. Poco has named the back design “Hypnotic Swirl Design” giving it a whole new look.
The M4 5G handset from the Poco brand comes with 5G connectivity that features up to 7 bands of 5G. The device arrives in three different color options and two different storage variants. As per storage, the device comes with a UFS 3.1 version of internal storage and Turbo RAM that extends the existing RAM by up to 2 GB by using the internal storage.

The Poco M4 5G sports a 6.58-inches FHD+ IPS LCD panel with a screen resolution of 1080 × 2400 pixels. The display supports a 90Hz refresh rate, a 240hz touch sampling rate along with a screen-to-body ratio of 83.3%. Under the hood, the 7 nm MediaTek MT6833 Dimensity 700 powers the handset, paired with Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. The storage of the Poco M4 5G comes with up to 128 GB of UFS 3.1 storage and up to 6 GB of RAM.
The dual-camera setup of the Poco M4 5G features a 50-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture. The secondary sensor of the setup comes with a 2-megapixel depth shooter with an aperture of f/2.4 along with an LED flash. The front-facing camera of the device resides in the water-drop notch, with an 8-megapixel sensor that comes with an f/2.4 aperture. The smartphone runs on MIUI 13 skin based on the Android 11 operating system.
The connectivity options of the M4 5G smartphone come with Dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C 2.0 port for charging and data transfer. The sensors array of the device features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, accelerometer, proximity, and compass. The M4 5G smartphone comes packed with a 5000mAh Li-Po battery that supports 18W fast charging.

The Poco M4 5G starts at Rs. 12,999 for the base 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage variant. The storage option with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage costs Rs. 14,999. The three color options of the Poco M4 5G include Cool Blue, Power Black, and Yellow shades. The device will go on sale from May 5th via Flipkart at noon in India.
