Google has finally confirmed the Google Pixel 6a smartphone launch in India. Google itself has confirmed the arrival of the Pixel 6a at its annual I/O developer conference on 11 May 2022. According to a tipster named Yogesh Brar, the Google Pixel 6a will likely be launched by July.

Google Pixel 6a: Specifications
The Google Pixel 6a sports an OLED 6.1-inch display with a resolution of 2400×1080. The Google Pixel 6a also features a display with a 60Hz refresh rate for a better gaming experience and content playback.
In addition, the screen is powered by the Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and features a built-in fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication and security. The Google Tensor chipset powers it with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage.
The Pixel 6a is powered by Google’s home-brewed Tensor SoC, coupled with the Titan M2 security chip. The Google Pixel 6a runs on Android 12. However, it will be one of the first to get Android 13.
In terms of optics, the Google Pixel 6a features a 12.2MP with an f1.7 dual-pixel primary camera with support for Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). A 12MP ultra-wide camera accompanies it. The Google Pixel 6a features an 8MP camera for selfies and video chatting.

The Google Pixel 6a is backed by a 4,410mAh battery supporting 18W USB-PD fast charging. Google states that it can last 24 hours on a single charge or 72 hours with Extreme Battery Saver mode turned on, and Wired charging is limited to 18W.
Users get over 24 hours of regular usage and up to 72 hours with its Extreme Battery Saver mode. Google Pixel 6a’s connectivity options include Wi-Fi, 4G and 5G support, stereo speakers, dual microphones, and HDR support.
Google Pixel 6a: Pricing and Availability
The official pricing of the Google Pixel 6a is currently unknown. However, according to the specifications, the Google Pixel 6a might be priced at Rs 40,000 ($450) in India. The Google Pixel 6a will be available for pre-orders on July 21, and a full retail release on July 28th.
