Every year Oppo hosts a conference called the Oppo Inno Day where they showcase their latest innovations to the world. Last year they showcased a phone with an under display camera which allows for a completely notch less full screen viewing display without the need for any kind of moving part like a pop up camera.

Though this image doesn’t reveal how the display rolls/retracts, we are sure that this will be another innovative invention by Oppo. While companies like TCL have shown of their concept rolling phones and LG is planning to announce a rolling phone in March 2021, we will have to see whether Oppo uses the same technology as the others. We know this is a rollable/retractable phone since Oppo itself wrote  “in the future, your phone will be able to retract freely” in the post.
