The Nokia T20 has arrived in India as the first Android Tablet by HMD Global, right ahead of the Diwali festival. The Nokia T20 tablet was launched in the US earlier this month. The Tablet sports a 10.4-inch 2K display with a resolution of 2000×1200 pixels.
According to HMD Global, the Tablet combines the signature attributes of Nokia phones in terms of design, build quality, unmatched battery life, and security updates and upgrades. Furthermore, HMD Global Vice-President Sanmeet Singh Kochhar added, “We have witnessed that tablet usage has grown immensely in the past one year.
This trend is driven by the evolving use cases of remote working, online learning, video calls, content consumption on OTT platforms, and social media usage. Nokia T20: Design and Specifications
The Nokia T20 sports a 10.4-inch 2K display with a 60Hz refresh rate for better content playback. The Nokia T20 features thick bezels in terms of design. The tablet display offers a pixel density of 226 PPI with a peak brightness of 400 nits.
The Nokia T20 tablet is powered by an octa-core Unisoc T610 SoC processor, paired with 4GB RAM. The device comes in two storage variants comprising 32GB and 64GB (can be further expandable to 512GB via microSD card). HMD Global offers up to three years of security updates and two years of operating system upgrades in terms of security and updates. The Nokia T20 tablet features OZO spatial audio support and an IP52 splash-resistant rating.
The Nokia T20 features a mono camera at the rear comprising an 8MP primary sensor in terms of optics. At the front, the device features a 5MP selfie shooter for snapping selfies and video chatting. In addition, the Tablet offers a LED flash for better pictures and videos.
In terms of battery, the Nokia T20 tablet is backed by an 8,200mAh battery with 15W fast charging support that offers up to 15 hours of browsing on a single charge. The Nokia T20 features dual microphones for noise cancellation as well. The Nokia T20’s connectivity options include 4G LTE, which is entirely optional, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, USB Type-C port for charging and file transfer, and a 3.5mm headphone jack for audio and video playback.
Nokia T20: Pricing and Availability
The Nokia T20 tablet is priced at Rs 15,499 ($207) for 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage configuration, whereas the Wi-Fi only variant with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage is priced at Rs 16,499 ($220). The Nokia T20 variant with 4G supportive is priced at Rs 18,499 ($247).
The Nokia T20 tablet will be available for sale through the Nokia web client and offline retail stores in India today. However, the Tablet will be available via Flipkart from tomorrow. HMD Global will offer preloaded Spotify access with the Tablet to customers who purchased the Nokia T20 tablet.
