Krafton has been continuously teasing the BGMI release for iOS. Battlegrounds Mobile India has been available on the play store for Android users since June and was also available to play at the time of pre-registration. After months of waiting, Battlegrounds Mobile India is finally available on the app store for iOS users.
Krafton has also announced on the game’s official website that the maintenance on the game’s authentication system will be rolled out for iOS users today.
Krafton also announced the BGMI iOS app’s maintenance schedule via the official website, completed at 8:30 AM IST(Indian Standard Time). For notification, the accounts linked with the Apple IDs previously will be able to access the game again. Krafton has also stated that some iPhone users may find it difficult to log in immediately due to the ongoing maintenance. Accounts linked with Apple ID will not be able to log in during the maintenance.
The Battlegrounds Mobile India is finally available for download on the Apple App Store. The Battlegrounds Mobile India is 1.9GB in size and requires iOS 9.0/ iPadOS 9.0 or later versions to download. Krafton has stated that a minimum of 2GB of RAM is required to play the game with the least optimizations.
Similar to the age restrictions for Android users, the BGMI iOS app has also been rated age 17+. Moreover, the listing in the app store states that the game contains frequent and Intense Realistic Violence scenarios.
To download the BGMI for iOS, users can go to the app store and search for Battlegrounds Mobile India, then tap on the Get button, and the users need to authenticate themselves using the Apple ID credentials or through the Face ID to play the game.
The BGMI has completed the milestone of 30 million downloads in the first week of launch. The game currently has 50 million+ downloads on the Google Play store. Krafton has announced a brand new event for the BGMI players. They are offering some amazing rewards to the users. The users will be able to claim the rewards only when the downloads milestone is completed.
One of the milestone rewards of 50 million downloads event will be available to claim for iOS users along with the welcome rewards. The iOS users will get the welcome rewards comprising Recon Mask, Recon Outfit, the Celebration Expert Title, and 300AG in-game currency. The iOS gamers will receive the Galaxy Messenger Set, which is a part of the 50 Million Downloads Rewards Event.
