ZTE Axon 20 5G with under-display camera arriving on September 1

ZTE A20 5G is a smartphone from the Chinese manufacturer that got spotted on certification pages recently. The device is now scheduled for launch, and the date of the announcement was posted on Weibo which includes the date and front design of the smartphone.

The smartphone’s name gets changed to Axon 20 5G as the previous certifications have named the smartphone an A20 5G. The device is ZTE’s successor flagship for the Axon 10 Pro 5G device which got launched in May 2019 that is last year. The special attraction of the device is it’s the first phone with an under-display camera in the world.

ZTE Axon 20 5G Launch Date and Details 

The ZTE’s upcoming flagship smartphone is the world’s first smartphone that has an under-display camera. There were many concept smartphones from other Chinese manufacturers such as OPPO but ZTE has taken the opportunity to introduce this technology to the mobile industry in the first place.

The model number of the Axon 20 5G as per the certification pages is ZTE A2121 which also is similar to its codename. This technology is quite complicated as the light should transmit from the display through the lens of the front camera. Many tech enthusiasts are waiting to check out the smartphone to test out the way the company managed to pull off this without any problems.

The device features a 6.9-inches OLED panel and the display technology used on the Axon 20 5G got developed by Visionox from China. The camera used for the front-facing camera is a 32MP sensor, and the smartphone gets powered by the Snapdragon 765G 5G processor. The Axon 20 5G is scheduled to launch on September 1 which is in two weeks.
