VU 4K TVs with Android Pie Launched in India Starting At ₹24,999

Vu is known for its low-cost TVs in India. It is one of the leading Android TV sellers in India. Today, the company announced its new Vu 4K TVs in India. The new Vu 4K TVs run Android 9 Pie starting at a price of ₹24,999 in India.

The New Vu 4K TVs are Here

The new Vu 4K TVs lineup comes with the three Smart TVs available in three different sizes — 43″, 50″, and 55″. This new lineup of Smart TVs comes with LED-backlit displays at a resolution of 4K. Vu claims its brightness to be up to 400 nits but we have to see it yet. These Vu 4K TVs are also certified by Dolby Vision along with HDR 10 support.

All the three TVs have thin bezels making them look very identical yet the sizes are different. Again, these three TVs have dual-channel speakers in-built but the difference is in the output. The 43″ one comes with a 12W output while the 50″ and the 55″ models come with 15W output. The total output from both the speakers is 24W or 30W based on your model. These models also support Dolby Audio and DTS Virtual:X for better surround audio output.

They run Android 9.0 Pie out of the box and comes with Netflix as a licensed app. They have 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage which is quite good in terms of a Smart TV. The supplied remote does come with some custom hotkeys for streaming apps like Netflix, Hotstar, Prime Video, and more. Along with that, there’ support for Google Assistant which makes it easier to control the TV. Apart from Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, they come with Chromecast built-in which is a great thing.
