Vivo is gearing up to launch its new smartphone named the Vivo Y21T, and it is expected to be debuted in the country on January 3. However, the smartphone is a Vivo Y33 with a different SoC screen and selfie camera.
The Vivo Y21T is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor, a waterdrop-style display notch, a triple rear camera setup, and 18W fast charging. According to the company, the Vivo Y21T will be available in two color variants and a single storage configuration. Vivo Y21T: Specifications
The Vivo Y21T sports a 6.51-inch LCD panel with 1600×720 pixel resolution and a refresh rate of 60Hz for an enhanced gaming experience and better content playback. The smartphone’s display features an aspect ratio of 20: 9.
However, in the Indian variant of the handset, the smartphone offers a 6.58-inch display with 2408×1080 pixel resolution with a high refresh rate of 90Hz for a better gaming experience and content playback. The Vivo Y21T is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chipset paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
In addition, the device will also feature 2 GB of virtual RAM. The smartphone runs Android 11-based Funtouch OS on top. The Vivo Y21T features a side-mounted fingerprint reader for security and biometric authentication.
In terms of optics, the Vivo Y21T features a triple camera setup at the rear comprising a 50MP primary camera with f/1.8 aperture, a 2MP secondary sensor, and a 2MP depth sensor. At the front, the Vivo Y21T features an 8MP selfie shooter for snapping selfies and video chatting.
A 5,000mAh battery backs the Vivo Y21T with 18W fast charging support. The Vivo Y21T’s connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5, GPS / A-GPS, FM radio, USB Type-C port for charging and file transfer, and a 3.5mm headphone jack for audio playback.

The Vivo Y21T is priced at Rs. 16,000 (IDR3,099,000/$215/€190) for the base 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage configuration. The Vivo Y21T will be available for pre-order in Midnight Blue and Pearl White color variants. The Vivo Y21T is expected to be debuted in the country on January 3.
