Vivo Y12A with Snapdragon 439, 5000 mAh Battery Launched

Vivo has launched a new Y-series smartphone in India. The Vivo Y12A has been officially launched in Singapore and Thailand. The Vivo Y12A appears to be a rebadged version of the Y12s 2021, which debuted in Vietnam last month. The company has launched multiple smartphones under different price brackets already.

The Vivo Y12A is a new addition to Vivo’s Y12 family that includes Vivo Y12, Vivo Y12i, Vivo Y12s. The smartphone sports a 6.51-inch IPS LCD along with 720p HD+ display. Under the hood, the handset draws power from a Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 SoC as well. Let’s take a detailed look at the Vivo Y12A specifications, price & availability.

The Vivo Y12A features a 6.51-inch IPS LCD screen with a teardrop notch which delivers an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels along with an aspect ratio of 20:9 .The Vivo Y12A also features Snapdragon 439 SoC which is coupled with 3GB RAM and 32GB of Internal storage which can be further expanded via MicroSD card. The handset also runs with a layer of FuntouchOS 11 on top of the Android mobile operating system.

When it comes to imaging, the Vivo Y12A features a 13-megapixel primary camera and a 2-megapixel auxiliary lens at the rear. At the front, the handset also features a 8-megapixel camera for snapping selfies and video calling.

The Vivo Y12A is available at a price of 4,499 Baht (Rs. 10,600) in Thailand. The handset is available in Green and Blue color variants. The pricing is for its 3GB RAM and 32GB ROM variant.
