In the recent launch event organized by Vivo India today, they announced the Vivo V21e 5G- a new member in their mid-range V21 series. Vivo V21e 5G comes in two storage variants and two colour options- Sunset Jazz and Dark Pearl.
The Vivo V21e will lock horns with devices like OnePlus Nord CE 5G, Oppo F19 Pro+ 5G, IQOO Z3 5G and the newly launched Mi 11 Lite. The device boasts a slim and trendy design, AMOLED display, 44W flash charging, 5G connectivity and more.
Vivo V21e 5G: Specifications
Vivo V21e 5G features a 6.44″ Full HD+ AMOLED Display with a standard 60Hz refresh rate, support for HDR 10+ and 600 nits of peak brightness. The display has a pixel per inch density of 408 and has SCHOTT Xensation® UP glass for protecting the front display. In addition, it offers a waterdrop style notch. The phone is just 7.67mm thick and weighs 167 grams.
Under the hood, Vivo V21e 5G has Mediatek’s Dimensity 700U 5G processor and Mali-G57 GPU with 8GB of LPDDR4X ram paired with 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage. In addition, it runs on Funtouch OS 11.1 based on Android 11 out of the box.
It also supports Vivo’s extended ram feature, which uses 3GB of internal storage to extend its onboard ram of 8GB. For security, Vivo V21e 5G has an in-display fingerprint scanner and AI-based face unlocking.
Vivo V21e houses a dual-camera setup in the rear, comprising a primary 64MP sensor with f/1.79 aperture and an 8MP f/2.2 wide-angle, which has a 120 degrees field of view. The selfie camera is a 32MP sensor that has an aperture of f/2.0. The handset supports electronic image stabilization (EIS) and various camera modes like portrait, night, panorama, live Photo, slo-mo, time-lapse, AR stickers and double exposure.
Vivo V21e 5G has a 4000mAh battery cell, and the included 44W Vivo flash charge adapter can charge it from 0-72% in 30 minutes flat via USB Type-C. It supports 5G connectivity, 4G VoLTE, dual-SIM, Bluetooth 5.1, Wifi 5, GPS and GLONASS.
However, it has support for only one 5G band- n78. The handset has single mono speakers with Hi-Res audio, a hybrid sim slot and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The onboard storage can be extended up to 1TB using a micro-SD card.

Vivo V21e 5G will be available to buy from today via Amazon India, Flipkart, Vivo India eStore, and offline stores across the country. As mentioned before, it will be available in two colours, and the device costs Rs.24,990 for the 8GB+128GB variant.
