Samsung Galaxy S series is the highest-end smartphone series from Samsung. This series was last updated in February 2022 with the Galaxy s22 series. The series is expected to be refreshed with the Galaxy S23, S23+, and S23 Ultra. The Samsung Galaxy S23 series will succeed the Samsung Galaxy S22 series.
The Galaxy S23 lineup could launch in February 2023. A recent report suggests that the Galaxy S23 will launch in the first week of February 2023. Although the exact release date has not been revealed, we expect the phones to be available in the second quarter of 2023. As you might know, Samsung launched its Samsung Galaxy S22 series in February 2021. So, it also makes sense for the S23 series to launch in February.
Samsung will unveil the S23 series during the unpacked 2023 event, which could be announced in the last week of January or the starting week of February. As per reports, the Samsung Galaxy S23 series will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. The chipset is based on a 4nm process which is more power-efficient than before. The device is also expected to feature a 120Hz AMOLED display and a triple camera setup.
The Samsung Galaxy S23 is also expected to be launched in three different variants – the Galaxy S23, S23 Plus, and S23 Ultra. While the Galaxy S23 Series specifications have leaked earlier, the Samsung Galaxy S23 and the Galaxy S23+ are expected to bring a better battery and faster processor with 5G Connectivity. At the same time, the Galaxy S23 Ultra might come with a 200MP primary camera and a better display.
Based on the current rumors and leaks, it is safe to say that the Samsung Galaxy S23 series will most likely launch in February 2023. This is in line with Samsung’s previous release schedule for its Galaxy S series smartphones. So far, there have been no indications that Samsung is planning to change its release schedule for the Galaxy S23 series.
So, there’s a possibility of the Galaxy S23 series launching in February 2023. While this is just a rumor, it is possible that Samsung could launch the Galaxy S23 series earlier than expected, perhaps in January. If this is the case, it would be a great way for Samsung to stay ahead of the competition.
