Samsung launched the Galaxy S20 FE smartphone with both 4G and 5G variants in the US in September of last year but only its 4G variant was launched in the Indian market with the Exynos 990 chipset in the following October. The Samsung Galaxy S20 FE smartphone with the 5G variant is finally unveiled today. The smartphone is powered by Snapdragon 865 SoC, whereas the 4G variant features Exynos 990 chip.
Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G: Specifications
The Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G features a 6.5-inch FHD Super AMOLED screen with an Infinity -O display with a 20:9 aspect ratio, a 120Hz high refresh rate, and HDR10+ Support along with the in-screen fingerprint scanner. The smartphone also comes with IP68 dust and a water-resistant build. The Samsung Galaxy FE 5G is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage (expandable to 1TB via microSD card).
The Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G variant features the same rear and front cameras as in the 4G variant of the smartphone. To the rear, the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G features a triple camera setup that includes 12-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.8 wide-angle lens, an 8-megapixel telephoto with 3x optical zoom, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide sensor with an f/2.2 lens along with the 30x Space Zoom. At the front, the smartphone features a 32-megapixel camera sensor. The main and the telephoto units get optical stabilization as well.
The Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, GPS, NFC, dual-band Wi-FI, Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C port, and also features an in-display fingerprint scanner. The Smartphone is powered by a 4,500mAh battery with 25W fast charging support. In addition, the smartphone is also supported by reverse wireless charging. The Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G features Android 11 OS and One UI 3.1.
Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G: Pricing & Availability
The Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G will be available in Cloud Navy, Cloud Mint, Cloud Lavender, White, Red, and Orange color variants. The Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G is available at a retail price of Rs.55,999 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB internal storage configuration. Currently, it’s being offered at an introductory price of Rs.47,999 for the same configuration. The Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G will be up for sale from March 31 on Samsung.com, Amazon, and other retailers.
