Samsung Galaxy F22 Launched in India with 90Hz AMOLED Display, 6000 mAh Battery

Samsung India announced a new member in their F series — the Galaxy F22. With a few noticeable differences only, it is a much cheaper alternative to the recently announced Galaxy M32. The device comes with some exciting features for the price.

It packs a massive 6000mAh battery, 90Hz AMOLED display, MediaTek Helio G80, 48MP quad-cameras, and much more. It will compete against the Redmi Note 10 and the Realme Narzo 30.

Samsung Galaxy F22: Specifications

The Samsung Galaxy F22 features a 6.4″ HD+ 90Hz Super AMOLED Infinity-U display. It can show up to 16 million colors and has a resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5 and has a peak brightness of 600 nits.

It houses the MediaTek Helio G80 octa-core processor with 4GB or 6GB of RAM and 64GB or 128GB of storage. The onboard storage can be expanded up to 1TB using a micro-SD card. It comes with Samsung’s OneUI Core 3.1 based on Android 11. Security options include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and AI-based face unlock. Samsung Pay Mini comes pre-installed for digital transactions.

The rear camera setup includes a primary 48MP Samsung HM2 sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor with 123 degrees of field of view, and two 2MP sensors for depth and macro shots. The 13MP sensor on the front handles the selfies and selfie videos. The camera modes include AR Zone, slow motion, and a couple of AI modes like food, landscape, etc.

It packs a 6000mAh cell with support for 25W Samsung’s Adaptive Fast Charging but comes with a 15W travel adapter in the box. Prominent connectivity features include 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.0, and WiFi. The device is 9.4mm thick and weighs 203 grams.

Galaxy F22: Pricing and Availability

The Samsung Galaxy F22 will be offered in two variants – 4GB+64GB for Rs.12,499 and 6GB+128GB for Rs.14,499. It comes in two color choices of Denim Black and Denim Blue and will be available to buy from Flipkart, Samsung Online store, and select retail stores across the country from 13th July 2021 at noon.

Samsung is offering Rs.1,000 off on online transactions as an introductory offer. So, the effective cost comes down to Rs.11,499 for the 4GB RAM variant and Rs.13,499 for the 6GB RAM variant.
