After a week of teasing on social media using the hashtag “#FastAndFuturistic”, the Redmi Note 10T 5G finally launched in India today.
The Redmi Note 10T 5G exists in two configurations of 4GB+64GB, which costs ₹13,999, and another 6GB+128GB for ₹15,999. It will lock horns with the Poco M3 Pro 5G, Realme 8 5G, Realme Narzo 30 5G, etc.
Redmi Note 10T 5G: Specifications
The Redmi Note 10T 5G features a 6.5″ FHD+ 90Hz IPS LCD Display. The panel can adapt its refresh rate according to the use case scenario. Like the Poco M3 Pro 5G, it has a punch-hole cutout at the centre to house the front selfie camera. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3, and the handset has a plastic back. The phone has P2i Splash proof coating, similar to other Redmi phones.
The shared specs include its processor as well — the MediaTek Dimensity 700 5G. There’s up to 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB or 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage type on board. The Redmi Note 10T comes with pre-installed with MIUI 12 based on Android 11. It comes with Dual-SIM 5G support, which means one can use two 5G SIMS simultaneously.
Optics on the rear side includes a triple camera setup of 48MP+2MP+2MP. There’s no ultra-wide lens, and the two 2MP sensors are for macro and depth assist, respectively. The front camera has a resolution of 8MP and handles selfie and selfie videos. Camera modes include Pro Color Mode, Color Focus Mode, Night Mode, Slo-mo, Timelapse etc.
The device packs a 5000mAh battery, while the in-box 22.5W travel adapter can charge at 18W only. Connectivity features include 5G, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.1, Dual-Band WiFi etc.
The phone also comes with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, 360-degree ambient light sensor, IR blaster, 3.5mm headphone jack and supports AI-based face unlock.
Pricing and Availability
The Redmi Note 10T 5G will be available to buy from 26th July 2021, at noon. Buyers can choose from four colours: Metallic Blue, Mint Green, Chromium White, and Graphite Black. Pricing of the phone starts at ₹13,999 for the 4GB+64GB variant and ₹15,999 for the 6GB+128GB variant.
The Redmi Note 10T 5G will be available to buy via Amazon India, Mi India online store, Mi Stores, Mi Home, and partner retail stores across the country. Introductory offers include a discount of up to ₹1,000 on online transactions made using HDFC Bank Credit Cards.
