Redmi, Xiaomi’s sub-brand, is preparing to launch a new smartphone, the Redmi 9 Power, in India. A new rumor suggests that the Redmi 9 Power will launch on 15 December unless something changes last minute.
Redmi 9 Power Specs
If you are wondering about the specs, then the Redmi 9 Power is just a rebranded Redmi Note 9 4G, announced in China a while back. We have covered that phone here. The Redmi Note 9 4G is also a very similar (Not completely rebranded) version of the Poco M3. Here are all the specs of the Redmi 9 Power.
The Redmi Note 9 4G sports a 6.53-inch FHD+ IPS LCD Display with a waterdrop style notch housing the 8 MP front-facing camera. The rear features a triple camera setup with a 48 MP primary shooter, an 8 MP ultrawide camera, and a 2 MP depth sensor. The phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 CPU and an Adreno 610 GPU paired with upto 8 GB RAM and 256 GB of expandable storage. The phone also packs a 6,000 mAh battery with support for 18W ‘fast’ charging.
The Redmi 9 Power will come with Android 10 out of the box with Xiaomi’s custom MiUi 12 skin on top. The phone also comes with additional features such as Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS, a fingerprint scanner, 4G LTE with USB type C for charging.
Pricing and Availability
The price of the Redmi 9 Power has not been revealed yet. The phone costs CNY 999 in China, which is about 11,200 but expect the phone to be about Rs. 9,999 with offers and bank discounts.
