Redmi, the sub-brand of Xiaomi smartphones, is doing quite a lot of business in India. The smartphone brand gets considered as the most selling smartphone brand in India compared to other contenders such as Realme and Samsung. The company’s smartphones get significant sales online, which comes at very affordable pricing.
The smartphones that recently got launched are Note series line-up, which is under mid-range category mostly with the specifications and pricing that gets offered. The budget range smartphones from the sub-brand are mostly below Rs.10,000 in India, and the company has announced the launch date of their new Redmi 9.

Redmi 9 Launch and Teaser Details
The company has teased the launch of the budget smartphone on its Twitter handle officially. The smartphone may get dubbed as Redmi 9 Prime as per some reports. The Redmi 9 is the confirmed version as the image posted by the official handle has Redmi with Nine as a shadow to that. This observation confirms the arrival of the smartphone.

The smartphone is now available in China, which got announced back in June. In the Chinese launch, the company has also released two additional budget devices which are Redmi 9A and 9C. These smartphones will get launched well under Rs. 10k as they are targeted to budget users mostly in India.

The device is planned to have a launch on August 4 and will get featured in the Amazon India’s Annual Prime Day sales. The enthusiasts who want to check out the launch can head over to Xiaomi’s page and their official YouTube channel to witness the live event, which starts at noon on August 4 in India.
