After the Realme C25 and C25s, the company now has another offering in the Realme C25 lineup. The Realme C25Y features a 50MP triple camera system for the first time on any C series smartphone from Realme.
That said, the rest highlighting features on the Realme C25Y include a 5000mAh battery and the rather popular Unisoc T610 SoC.
Realme C25Y: Specifications
Going with the same panel again, Realme provides the selfsame 6.5″ IPS LCD once again. The display is homogeneous to any other C series smartphone, including the exact pixel count (1600 x 720) and HD+ resolution. The panel features a standard 60Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness level of 420 nits.
Like the Realme C21Y, this device sports the Unisoc T610 octa-core processor. It is based on a 12nm fabrication process and has an in-built Mali-G52 GPU on board. With that, the SoC is paired with 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM and eMMC 5.1 based 128GB internal storage. The Realme C25Y runs on Realme UI R edition based on Android 11.
The primary camera now sees an upgrade to a 50MP sensor for the optics, but the 2MP portrait lens and 2MP macro sensor remain the same. On the front, the dew-drop notch houses an 8MP Sony IMX355 selfie snapper. While the video recording capability maxes out at 1080p, camera modes like Beauty, HDR, Panoramic View, Portrait, Time-lapse, Expert, Super Night, etc., should compensate for it.
To back it up, the Realme C25Y comes with a 5000mAh battery. Furthermore, to fill it up, Realme bundles an 18W fast charger in the box. In contrast, Realme C25Y also includes a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, single backfiring mono speaker, reverse charging, Bluetooth 5.0, triple SIM card slot, WideVine L3, etc.
