Realme has a lineup of entry-level smartphones under its C-series, and now the company has unveiled a new low-cost smartphone – Realme C21Y. The Realme C21Y has made its global debut in Vietnam. The company has not said anything about bringing this phone to other markets yet.
The Realme C21Y features a 6.5-inch HD+ LCD display that offers a screen resolution of 1600 × 720 pixels and 400 nits of peak brightness. Moreover, the device runs on Android 10 OS which is now a bit old given that Android 12 has been officially announced. Realme C21Y: Specifications
The Realme C21Y sports a 6.5-inch HD+ LCD display with a screen resolution of 1600 × 720 pixels and 400 nits peak brightness. The handset also features a water drop notch for the 5MP f/2.2 selfie camera that supports AI Beauty features on top. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core Unisoc T610 SoC based on the 12 nm fabrication process.
The chipset also brings an octa-core CPU with two Cortex-A75 units running at 1.8 GHz as well. This processor is paired up with a MaliG52 GPU for graphics. The Realme C21Y comes packed with a 4GB LPDDRX RAM and 64GB internal storage (can be further expandable via MicroSD card).
In terms of optics, the Realme C21Y features a triple camera setup at the rear which includes a 13MP primary sensor, a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP monochrome lens. At the front, the device also features a 5MP selfie snapper for taking selfies and video chatting.
The Realme C21Y is backed by a 5,000mAh battery. The smartphone is LTE-only and consists of two nano-SIM card slots. The Realme C21Y connectivity options include 4G, Dual Sim, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS /AGPS, Beidou, Glonass, a micro-USB port on the bottom for charging and file transfer, and a 3.5mm audio jack for music playback. The handset also features Realme UI on top. For security, the device sports a fingerprint scanner at the rear as well.

The Realme C21Y is priced at VND 3,490,000 (Rs. 11,300) for the 3GB RAM + 32GB internal storage configuration whereas the 4GB RAM + 64GB internal storage configuration is priced at VND 3,990,000 (Rs. 13,000). The Realme C21Y is available in Blue and Black color variants.
