Poco M2 Pro, another mid-range offering from the Sub-brand of Xiaomi after the launch of Poco X2, is announced today. The launch event streamed on YouTube, and this time, the company has collaborated with three renowned youtube creators to address the specifications and features of the device.
The smartphone, in its exact origin, is a rebranded Redmi Note 9 Pro in terms of design and internals, and there is less difference between both the smartphones. There are two features where the new M2 Pro is better than the Redmi Note 9 Pro is the battery capacity and fast charging capabilities.
Poco M2 Pro Specifications and Price
Poco M2 Pro comes with a 6.67-inch 1080p LCD screen that has a punch-hole for the front-facing camera. The Snapdragon 720G SoC powers the smartphone with Adreno 618 GPU. A fingerprint sensor is a side-mounted unit, and the device features a water-resistant coating that can withstand accidental water splashes.
The back and front glass housing of the M2 Pro is protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass 5, and the keynote even pointed out that the same Glass also protects camera lenses. The Quad-Camera setup has a 48MP primary sensor, an 8 MP ultrawide, a 5MP macro, and a 2MP depth sensors. The front camera is a 16MP sensor.
The Poco M2 Pro features a massive 5000mAh battery, which supports 33W Fast Charging capabilities. The charger will be provided right in the box by the company, which is a rare thing on other devices. The device will flaunt in three different color schemes, Out Of The Blue, Green, and Greener, and Two Shades of Black.
The Poco M2 Pro gets launched in three different variants, which start at Rs.13,999 for the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. The 6GB RAM and 64GB of storage for Rs. 14,999 and the higher option, 6GB RAM, and 128GB storage variants get priced at Rs.16,999. The first sale is on July 14, at noon exclusively on Flipkart India.
