Xiaomi’s sub-brand Poco received a huge success starting with its F series of smartphones. It seems like Poco is preparing itself to launch the long-awaited Poco F2 in India. The company teased a 52-seconds video on the social media platform, Twitter.
Poco shared a video revealing their achievements in 2020. Albeit that the ending adds a Thanks along with the upcoming phone’s name. The smartphone is the long-awaited Poco F2, one of the most popular devices after the success of Poco F1. The video on the other hand, reveals achievements like 1,00,000 phone sold by Poco, the company ranking fourth among the top smartphones in India, and much more.
The video doesn’t reveal too much in any way expect a small teaser at the end of the video. Notwithstanding, a tipster on Twitter mentioned some key specifications about the upcoming Poco F2 smartphone.
According to the citings from a Xiaomi’s Telegram Group, a tipster named Abhishek Yadav revealed that we’ll see Snapdragon 732G running under the hood of Poco F2. He adds that it will be backed up by a 4,250 mAh battery along with a Quad-Camera setup. He also mentions that the device will sport a 120Hz AMOLED display, but we don’t know the dimensions of the screen yet.
Additionally, he revealed that the F2 will come with NFC support, out of the box. The Poco F2’s alleged codename is Courbet, while the model name is suggested as K9A. Looking at these specifications, we can speculate that the Poco F2 will be a mid-range device and could launch under a price of ₹20,000. As per recent reports, Poco might also bring laptops in India, as Xiaomi did.
Poco launched the F2 Pro was launched previously with a Snapdragon 865 chipset and quad-cameras. Although Poco set it as a flagship, the Poco F2 might disappoint its fans if it comes out with the Snapdragon 732G.
