The Next Poco F-Series Might Not be Cheap as you would Expect

Poco India is working on their upcoming smartphone in the Poco F-Series. A top executive at Poco India, Anuj Sharma has confirmed through a tweet that the company is working on a successor to the Poco F-series and further mentioned that the handset will be available at a high price. Poco F3 made its global debut in March, but the handset is yet to arrive in the Indian market.

At the beginning of this year, Poco India started dropping off some hints on their upcoming smartphone. There’s been some speculation that the brand plans to launch a new Poco F-series smartphone in India, which could be either the Poco F3 or a completely new device.

However, the top executive at Poco India has confirmed that the possible Poco F3 will be available at a higher price. The Poco F3 features a 6.67 inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a high refresh rate of 120Hz. The Poco F3 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chipset paired with up to 8GB RAM. The smartphone sports a triple camera setup at the rear which includes a 48MP primary sensor, 8MP ultra-wide sensor, and 5MP Tele-macro lens.

On the front, the Poco F3 also features a 20-megapixel selfie snapper for camera and video calling. The Poco F3 supports a 4,250mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. The Poco F3 connectivity options include NFC, an IR blaster, 4G connectivity, Bluetooth v5.1, dual-band Wi-Fi, and a 3.5mm headphone jack as well.

Poco F3: Expected Pricing and Launch Date

The Poco F3 is expected to be available at a price of Rs. 30,190 for the 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage configuration. The Poco F3 is expected to be released on May 1 this year.
