Oppo is set to expand its Reno smartphone series in India. Flipkart has confirmed that at least two phones from the series, the Reno 6 and the Reno 6 Pro 5G are going to launch in India. However no official launch date for these phones have been announced yet.
Oppo is leaving out the Reno 6 Pro+, which is the top model in the series and comes with a Snapdragon 870 chipset from the launch in India. The OPPO Reno 6 Pro 5G sports a curved edge 6.5-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 90Hz. The OPPO Reno 6 Pro 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chipset that supports 5G connectivity on both SIM card slots.
In terms of optics, the rear cameras are similar to the Reno 6 but featuring a quad camera setup which include 64MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and the 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth camera. At the front, the handset also features a 32MP selfie snapper for selfies and video chatting.
The OPPO Reno 6 Pro 5G is backed by a 4,500mAh battery with 65W fast charging support. The OPPO Reno 6 Pro 5G runs on Android 11 with ColorOS 11.3 out of the box as well. The OPPO Reno 6 Pro 5G is priced at Rs 39,800 (CNY 3,499) in China and similar prices are expected in India as well.
