OnePlus has announced that the company will unveil the OnePlus 9 RT on October 13 this year. The OnePlus 9 RT will be powered by the Snapdragon 888 SoC paired with 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. The handset will feature a 120Hz E4 display and will pack a 4,500 mAh battery with 65W charging. The smartphone features a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor on the rear as the primary sensor in terms of optics.
According to some reports, OnePlus has been receiving many complaints from users regarding overheating a chip. OnePlus announced the OnePlus 9RT cooling system with a built-in 19067.44 mm² space cooling system, which is equivalent to the cooling area of some tablets.
OnePlus tested a five-dimensional heat dissipation structure design for more than six months and verified, 59% VC heat dissipation area increased the 20% heat dissipation efficiency. The OnePlus 9RT cooling system is expected to include a vapor chamber and offers multiple layers of graphene, and the metal frame will also contribute to heat dissipation. The OnePlus 9RT sports a 6.55 inches (16.64 cm) E4 AMOLED display with a high 120hz refresh rate, making it suitable for gaming. The smartphone’s display features a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, an aspect ratio of 20:9 with a pixel density of 402 PPI. The OnePlus 9RT features Multi-Touch Capacitive Touchscreen as well.

The smartphone features an Exmor-RS CMOS sensor, OIS ( Optica Image Stabilization), and an LED flash. The OnePlus 9RT might be priced at Rs. 42,999 ($572) for the base configuration. The smartphone will be available in Blue, Silver, and Dark Matter color variants. OnePlus 9 RT is expected to be launched on October 13 this year.
