OnePlus is gearing up to launch the OnePlus 9RT in India and China in October this year. According to a report, the OnePlus is reportedly working on a brand new smartphone named OnePlus 9RT. The smartphone is expected to be an R variant smartphone from the One Plus 9 series.
The OnePlus 9RT is expected to feature some improvements over the One Plus 9R. The OnePlus 9RT will offer modest upgrades over the 9R and is rumored to be limited to selected markets only. OnePlus 9RT is expected to feature a 6.55-inch Full HD+ E3 AMOLED display with a resolution of 2400×1080 pixels and a high120Hz refresh rate, making it suitable for the best gaming experience. The OnePlus 9RT is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor coupled with 8GB and 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM.
The OnePlus 9RT is also expected to feature the UFS 3.1 storage. According to the leaks and speculations, the smartphone is expected to be released in three storage configurations which comprise 8GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage, 8GB RAM and 256GB, and 12GB RAM and 256GB storage configurations.
For security, the OnePlus 9RT also features an in-display fingerprint sensor and glass sandwich design with Corning fifth-generation Gorilla Glass protection and aluminum alloy chassis with AG Frosted Corning Gorilla Glass back cover. The OnePlus 9RT is expected to boot Android 12 Oxygen OS 12.
In terms of optics, the OnePlus 9RT is expected to feature a triple camera setup at the rear comprising a 50-megapixel OIS Sony IMX766 sensor a16MP Sony IMX481 ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP B&W sensor as well. The smartphone connectivity option includes 4G/5G support, dual-sim support, dual speakers, a Type-C port for charging and file transfer, and a headphone jack for music playback. In addition, the OnePlus 9RT offers NFC support, Dolby Panoramic sound, X-axis linear motor.

OnePlus 9RT is expected to be available at a price tag of Rs. 34,300 (2999 Chinese Yuan) for the 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage configuration, though the other variant prices remain unknown. The OnePlus 9RT will be launched in India in October, but the exact launch date hasn’t been announced yet.
