Max J, who has come up with a lot of reliable leaks in the past few years also revealed the codename of the said device – ‘LEMONADE’ along with an image of a OnePlus device. The OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro is expected to come by April 2021 just like the OnePlus 8 Series earlier this year. The phone is expected to come with Snapdragon 875, warp charge 65, the devices may also feature either a 120 Hz or a144 Hz AMOLED panel with new and improved cameras. While the 9 Pro may continue with the same flagship camera experience as the 8 Pro, the camera setup on the 9 may just be an improvement to the 8T camera setup. The 9 Pro may also come with certified IP rating and wireless charging though it remains to be seen whether OnePlus would add the same to the 9.

As for the design, when OnePlus started using curved displays in the OnePlus many users didn’t like it even though it gave the possibility for no bezels so OnePlus decided to go with a flat display for the 8T, according to the teaser the 9 series should also come with a flat panel and very thin side bezels. The 9 series will also feature the trademark OnePlus alert slider which lets you switch between ring, mute and vibrate with just a slide.
The OnePlus 9 will also feature OnePlus’s controversial Oxygen OS 11 on top of Android 11. Oxygen OS is OnePlus’s own near stock android skin with close to zero bloatware and useful customization options. Oxygen OS 11 received backlash from many users after it took design cues from Samsung’s OneUI.

One Plus cant get enough of new event launches even if there’s hardly any new upgrades or changes made to the previous version huh…. the 8 T is one ugly phone in design especially with the camera layout. They should focus on upgrading their camera’s software instead of adding more cameras which make the camera module look as big as a poco phone.
Agree with you.
