New OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro updates rolled out fixing Ambient Display bug and optimized front camera

OnePlus has rolled out its latest OxygenOS 10.5.12/13 updates for their flagship devices of this year. The update is for the OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro devices which faced many issues that were addressed by users all around the globe. The previous updates have fixed a bunch of bugs and the new updates have given out solutions to the bugs still faced by the consumers.

OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro OxygenOS 10.5.13 Update Change Log 

System

  • Fixed the overlapping character display issues with the Ambient display.
  • Fixed known issues and improved system stability.
  • Updated Android Security Patch to 2020.08

Camera

  • Optimized shooting effect with the front camera.

As mentioned in the above Update changelog of the Oxygen OS 10.5.13, the device gets a fix related to the shooting effect with the front camera which now has got resolved and optimized. The Rolled out update has given the latest August 2020 Security patch for the Android operating system for both the OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro.

The update has improved the system stability of the devices and fixed the Ambient display overlapping issues which were the main concern of many newly bought smartphone users. The previous July 2020 update for the OP 8 and 8 Pro has updated the GMS package and optimized the touch sampling in game mode.

The other issues that were fixed before the August 2020 update are issues related to ARCore failure, wireless charger base re-started automatically, and some minor bugs. The manufacturer has rolled out OxygenOS 10.5.13for OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro in India and OxygenOS 10.5.12 in Europe with a batch roll out the system.
