OnePlus 10 Pro with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Launched in India

OnePlus has announced its most anticipated smartphone in the premium and flagship segment as the OnePlus 10 Pro in India. The latest and greatest smartphone with high-end internals features the  Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset.

This flagship processor from Qualcomm will offer four times faster artificial intelligence (AI) processing and 25 percent more efficient graphics performance than the last-generation Snapdragon chip.

OnePlus has provided a newer version of AMOLED display on the device that looks much better and has improved a lot over the OnePlus 9 Pro. Moreover, the flagship smartphone will ship with SuperVOOC fast charging and wireless AirVOOC fast charging and features triple cameras on the rear.

The smartphone’s design includes changes to the camera setup that features a revamp from the predecessor. Let’s look at the OnePlus 10 Pro’s specifications, price, and availability.

OnePlus 10 Pro Specifications

The OnePlus 10 Pro boasts a 6.7-inch QHD+ Fluid AMOLED display with a screen resolution of 1440 × 3216 pixels. The LTPO display supports a 120Hz dynamic refresh rate ranging from 1Hz to 120Hz for better battery efficiency.

On the other hand, the display features an sRGB color gamut with a 10-bit color depth and gets the Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection. Under the hood, an octa-core Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC coupled with 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM powers the handset.

The storage options provided on the smartphone include up to 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The handset runs on OxygenOS 12.1 based on Android 12.

The triple-camera setup on the OnePlus 10 Pro features a 48-megapixel Sony IMX789 primary sensor with OIS and f/1.8 aperture. The secondary sensor on the device comes with a 50-megapixel ultra-wide Samsung ISOCELL JN1 sensor with a 150-degree field-of-view.

The tertiary sensor on the setup brings an 8-megapixel telephoto sensor that supports Optical Image Stabilization. The front-facing camera resides in the punch-hole of the display, with a 32-megapixel Sony IMX615 for selfies and video calls.

The connectivity options on the 10 Pro include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.2, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. The sensors array of the device features an in-display fingerprint scanner, accelerometer, ambient light, gyroscope, magnetometer, and a proximity sensor. The battery pack provided on the device comes with a 5,000mAh capacity dual-cell design that supports 80W SuperVOOC wired charging and 50W AirVOOC wireless charging.

The OnePlus 10 Pro starts at Rs. 66,999 for the base 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage version and Rs. 71,999 for the 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage model in India. The smartphone flaunts two unique color options—Emerald Forest and Volcanic Black shades.

Along with the OnePlus 10 Pro, the brand has announced the OnePlus Wireless Bullets Z2 with a price tag of Rs. 1,999 in India. The latest flagship from OnePlus will go on sale from April 5th in India at the OnePlus Official website, stores, and other authorized stores across India.
