Ever since the original Mi Mix, Xiaomi’s state-of-the-art Mix series has always been known to showcase groundbreaking innovations in the smartphone industry. From bezel-less displays to slidable displays or a phone with a 360-degree wraparound display, Xiaomi’s Mix series had something unique to offer in every iteration, and this time, the streak hasn’t broken.
The Mi Mix 4 is the pinnacle of Xiaomi’s engineering marvels. Apart from the top-of-the-shelf specifications, this time, Mi Mix 4’s under-screen selfie camera will be the talk of the town. In addition, Mi Pad 5 also saw the daylight today and will lock horns against Samsung’s flagship Tab S7 series.
Xiaomi Mix 4: Specifications
The Xiaomi Mix 4 features a 6.67-inch Full HD+ display with curved edges with a high 120hz refresh rate. The handset also features HDR 10+, Corning Gorilla Glass Victus, 5000000:1 contrast ratio, 10-bit TrueColor, and 480Hz touch sampling rate. The smartphone even offers support for Dolby Vision. In addition, the smartphone also features a virtually bezel-less screen.
The Xiaomi Mix 4 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888+ SoC, coupled with 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM. It also comes with up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 Storage. The Mi Mix 4 runs on Android 11 based on the custom MIUI 12.5 skin.
In terms of optics, the Xiaomi Mix 4 features a triple camera setup at the rear, including a 108MP primary sensor with f/1.33 aperture, LED flash, OIS, and up to zoom 100x. The design also includes an 8MP 50x periscope camera with OIS. There is also a 13MP ultra wide-angle camera with an f/2.2 aperture. It features a 20MP under-display camera as well, such that the users can get a full-screen experience.
The Xiaomi Mix 4 is backed by a 4,500mAh battery supporting 120W fast wired charging and 50W wireless charging. According to Xiaomi, the maximum rear temperature will be 37 degrees while setting. The smartphone connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6E 802.11 ax, Bluetooth 5.2, UWB, NFC, USB Type-C for charging and file transfer, GPS, IR blaster, and NavIC.
Xiaomi Mix 4: Pricing & Availability
The Xiaomi Mix 4 is priced at Rs. 57,350 (CNY 4,999) for the base 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage configuration whereas the 8GB RAM+256GB, 12GB RAM+256GB, 12GB RAM+512GB internal storage configurations are priced at Rs 60,800(CNY 5,299), Rs 66,550 (CNY 5,799) and Rs 72,300 (CNY 6,299) respectively.
The smartphone is available in Ceramic Black, Ceramic White, and the all-new Ceramic Gray color variants. The Xiaomi Mix 4 will be available for pre-order starting tomorrow and officially available for sale on August 16.
