Xiaomi Launched the Mi 11 a while back and that was the company’s bang for the buck, value, flagship killer. Xiaomi’s full on flagship, the Mi 11 Ultra is yet to be announced. However, we have already got a hands on video for the Mi 11 Ultra.

Tech Buff PH, the Philippines based YouTube channel uploaded a hands on video (now private) with not one but two versions of the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra, the black and the white version. Although it is yet to be confirmed whether that Smartphone is the real deal or just a prototype, the fact that the model no. of the phone-M2102K1G was recently certified by BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) and some shots of it running Xiaomi’s latest MiUi 12.5 may suggest that it is the real deal.

First thing you notice in this photo is the massive camera bump, spread across the entire top third of the phone. According to Tech Buff PH, the phone comes with a triple camera setup with a 50 MP main sensor, a 48 MP ultrawide and a 48 MP Periscope lens which can zoom up to 120x (Just like the Mi 10 Ultra).

Well if you are thinking this is one hell of a camera bump, buckle up, it gets better. The camera bump also hosts a tiny display (like the outside display on the Galaxy Z Flip), its main purpose seems to be to act like a viewfinder for the Main Camera so that you can take selfies in the same high quality goodness like your other shots. The display may even show your notifications if for some reason you keep your phone upside down.

A closer look at the Mi 11 Ultra Camera Bump

Unlike the tiny display, the main display is a humongous 6.8-inch OLED display with a WQHD+ resolution and a 120 Hz high refresh rate display. The front glass is protected by Corning’s Gorilla Glass Victus like in the S21 Ultra. The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 888 Mobile SOC. The phone will also come with an IP 68 Certification, Wireless Charging and speakers tuned by Harmon Kardon like the Mi 11.
