Along with the two brand new smartphones Mi 11 Pro and Mi 11 Ultra, Xiaomi also released a couple of budget-friendly smartphones at its virtual launch event today. The Mi 11 Lite 5G is officially the world’s first smartphone with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 780G chipset while its 4G variant features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G chipset. The Mi 11 Lite 5G features a similar design to the flagship Mi 11 smartphone from the last year 2020.
Mi 11 Lite 5G: Specifications
The Mi 11 Lite 5G is an upper mid-range handset. The Mi 11 Lite 5G features an AG frosted glass panel on the rear and a 6.55-inch FHD + AMOLED display with a 90Hz high refresh rate on the front. The panel features a resolution of 2400×2400 pixels, 240hz touch sampling rate, Dolby Vision, DCI-P3 Color Gamut, and HDR 10+ certification.
Moreover, the front has a 20 MP Selfie Camera along with the rear which features a triple camera with a 64 Megapixel primary sensor. Moreover, the Mi 11 Lite 5G also features an 8 Megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens and a 5 Megapixel macro sensor. The Smartphone is supported with a large 4250mAh battery that supports up to 33W fast charging.
The Mi 11 Lite 5G is 6.81mm in thickness and weighs only 159 grams. The device supports Bluetooth 5.2 and WiFi 6E Standards. In addition, the display of the device has Cornilla Gorilla Glass 6 and the handset runs on the Android 10 based MIUI 12 custom skins with the usual connectivity options. The chipset is paired with up to 128GB of built-in storage and 8GB of RAM as well.
Mi 11 Lite 5G: Pricing and Availability
The Mi 11 Lite 5G will be available in six color variants namely White, Pink, Classic Black, Kiwi Green, Water Blue, and Lemon yellow. For the pricing, the 8GB+128GB variant of Mi 11 Lite 5G is available at a cost of CNY 2,299 ( Rs 25,500) whereas the 8GB+256GB variant of Mi 11 Lite 5G is available at a cost of CNY 2,599 ( Rs 28,775). Currently, the device is up for pre-order and will go on sale from April 16th in China.
