Overview

The Kovol Sprint 65W GaN and PD charger is a four-port charger that juices up your devices with 65W of power. However, there’s no shortage of such chargers in the market. Even the newly launched Macbook M1 Apple Silicon models arrive with GaN-enabled power brick that juices up the battery much faster.

GaN technology enables the chargers to use less space while producing less heat simultaneously. By combining PD and GaN technology, Kovol provides you with a four-port charger that can charge up to four devices at a single time.

The Kovol GaN PD four-port charger is available in two variants — 120W and 65W. In this review, we’ll be taking a look at the 65W version. Let’s take a deep dive into what it offers.

Design & Build

The Kovol Sprint 4-port charger has a compact and simple design. That said, you’ll see four LED indicators on the bottom of the ports indicating its status. And they don’t represent four-ports or their charging status. Other than that, you’ll see Kovol branding on the charger.

The 5-feet AC cord can be removed, which I generally prefer. The charger weighs around 155 grams (0.34 Pounds) which isn’t a lot of weight to carry around in your backpack. Honestly, it is much better than having a ton of charging bricks in your bag.
