The JioPhone Next is expected to launch ahead of Diwali 2021. The much-awaited JioPhone Next will hit Indian markets during the Diwali festival, and its specifications surfaced online. Ahead of the launch, the JioPhone Next’s key specifications and features have been revealed in a short video teaser.
The video teaser shows the JioPhone Next handset from various angles revealing a Micro-USB port, capacitive touch buttons, and a 13-megapixel sensor placed inside a capsule-shaped rear camera setup. The setup also houses a LED flash just below the sensor.
The Jio Phone Next will be bringing a host of features such as Translate Now, Read Aloud, and Night Mode. According to a report, the smartphone has been spotted on a Google Play console listing, and the listing reveals some of the key specifications of the upcoming Jio Phone. The JioPhone Next is expected to use a watered-down version of Android as its operating system named the Android Go with a pre-installed suite of Android Go apps.

The JioPhone Next will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 215 chipset paired with 2GB/3GB RAM and 16GB/32GB of internal storage.
The entry-level smartphone by Jio will feature four Cortex-A53 cores and an integrated Adreno 306 GPU for enhanced graphics. The JioPhone Next boots Android 11 Go Edition optimized by Google with additional special features.
In terms of optics, the JioPhone Next features a mono camera setup at the rear comprising a 13 MP Omnivision OV13B10 with support for AR filters. At the front, the JioPhone Next features an 8 MP Galaxy Core GC8034W selfie shooter for snapping selfies and video chatting.
