iQOO Z6 5G with Snapdragon 695, 120Hz Display, and Triple Cameras Launched in India

Vivo’s sub-brand iQOO has launched its latest smartphone for the Z-series in India. The iQOO Z6 5G has officially launched in India on 16 March, as anticipated by the brand. This successor for the Z5 comes with Qualcomm 5G chipsets on the inside and up to 8 GB of RAM.

The smartphone’s design features the typical aesthetics from iQOO’s previously launched device, featuring a rectangular camera module on the rear. The brand has also announced a Wireless Sport Neckband alongside the smartphone at the launch event at Rs. 1,799.

iQOO Z6 5G Specifications

The iQOO Z6 5G sports a 6.58-inch full-HD+ LCD screen with 1080×2408 pixels resolution. The display supports a  120Hz refresh rate, a 240Hz touch sampling rate, and a water-drop notch.

iQOO Z6 5G Key Specifications

Under the hood, an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 chipset coupled with up to 8 GB of LPDDR4X RAM powers the smartphone. The device runs on Fun touch OS 12 based on the Android 12 operating system. The storage on the Z6 5G comes with 128 GB of UFS 2.2 storage and supports expandability.

The camera module on the iQOO Z6 5G comes with a triple camera setup, featuring a 50-megapixel primary Samsung ISOCELL JN1 sensor with an f/1.8 lens. A duo of 2-megapixel secondary and tertiary cameras for macro and depth purposes. The front-facing camera on the device embedded in the water-drop notch comes with a 16-megapixel Samsung 3P9  sensor with an f/2.0 aperture.

The connectivity options on the iQOO Z6 include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS/ A-GPS, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. The device comes with a sensors pack of a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, accelerometer, ambient light, magnetometer, and proximity sensor. Lastly, the smartphone houses a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging.

Price and Availability

The iQOO Z6 5G starts at Rs. 15,499 for the 4 GB RAM version and costs Rs. 16,999 for the 6 GB RAM variant in India. Whereas the top-of-the-line storage option with 8 GB RAM costs Rs. 17,999. iQOO has brought the smartphone in two different color options—Chromatic Blue and Dynamo Black shades. The iQOO Z6 5G will sell from 22 March on Amazon, iQOO India eStore, and other retail stores across India.
