The iQOO 9 series is currently in development and was announced by a teaser revealing the design of the smartphones. iQOO 9 series comprises the iQOO 9 and iQOO 9 Pro, and the launch of these brand new smartphones is expected to be in February 2022.
The iQOO 9 and the iQOO 9 Pro are powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. In addition to that, the iQOO 9 Pro is tipped to come with a 6.78-inch curved edge AMOLED display with a 2K resolution, whereas the iQOO 9 may sport a flat FullHD+ AMOLED display.
The iQOO 9 and iQOO 9 Pro smartphones were announced by a teaser, and the design of the iQOO 9 and iQOO 9 Pro were revealed. According to the teaser, the rear camera of the iQOO 9 lineup is designed similarly to the POCO devices as the handsets are featured with a black insert for the width of the rear.
It can be spotted that the iQOO 9 Pro will come pre-installed with three image sensors. One of the sensors would be a 50MP Samsung GN5 sensor, and the device will also feature a 50MP super-wide with a viewing angle of 150 degrees and a 16-megapixel telephoto lens and the other sensors.
The iQOO 9 Pro will sport a 6.78-inch E5 AMOLED 2K display with LTPO technology and a 120 Hz refresh rate for an enhanced gaming experience and better content playback with a peak brightness of 1500 nits. According to some rumors and speculations, the iQOO 9 Pro might feature OIS (Optical Image Stabilization).
In terms of the iQOO 9, the device will sport a 6.78-inch E5 AMOLED display with LTPO technology and a 120 Hz refresh rate similar to the iQOO 9 Pro for better gaming experience and content playback with a peak brightness of 1500 nits.
The smartphone will also feature a triple camera at the rear comprising a 50MP Samsung GN5 sensor, a 13MP wide-angle sensor, and a 12MP telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom for better pictures and imaging quality. The iQOO 9 and the iQOO 9 Pro will be backed by the 4650 mAh battery with 120W fast charging support. Both the handsets will feature an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication and security.
In terms of pricing, the iQOO 9 might be priced at Rs. 50,000 for the base configuration includes 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. However, the iQOO 9 Pro might be priced at Rs. 54,999 for the 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage configuration. The iQOO 9 and iQOO 9 Pro smartphones will be launched in February 2022.
