iQOO has unveiled the new flagship smartphones named the iQOO 9 and iQOO 9 Pro. The launch event will begin at 7:30 PM local time. The upcoming smartphones have appeared on the TENAA website with all the key specifications ahead of the official launch.
The iQOO 9 and the iQOO 9 Pro are powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. In addition to that, the iQOO 9 Pro is tipped to come with a 6.78-inch curved edge AMOLED display with a 2K resolution, whereas the iQOO 9 may sport a flat FullHD+ AMOLED display.
iQOO 9: Specifications
The iQOO 9 sports a 6.78-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz, making it suitable for enhanced gaming experience and content playback with 300nits of peak brightness support.
The iQOO 9 is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC and comes with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of inbuilt storage. The smartphone features a punch-hole screen bundled with a 16-megapixel image sensor. The iQOO 9 runs Android 12-based Origin OS Ocean out of the box.
In terms of optics, the iQOO 9 features a triple camera setup at the rear comprising a 50MP primary sensor with a Samsung GN5 1/1.57 sensor which supports optical image stabilization (OIS). The smartphone also features a 13MP wide-angle camera with a 120-degree field-of-view and a 12MP camera for portrait images.
At the front, the iQOO 9 features a 16MP selfie shooter for snapping selfies and video chatting. The smartphone is backed by a 4,700mAh battery supporting 120W fast charging. The smartphone measures 164.55 x 76.7 x 8.37mm and weighs about 206.1 grams in terms of dimensions.
iQOO 9: Pricing and Availability
The iQOO 9 is priced at RMB 3,999 (Rs. 47,000) for the base 8GB RAM+ 256GB internal storage model. The 12GB RAM+ 256GB internal storage configuration is priced at RMB 4,399 (Rs. 51,600) whereas the 12GB RAM+ 512GB internal storage configuration is priced at RMB 4,799 (Rs. 56,240).

iQOO 9 Pro sports a curved 6.78-inch Quad-HD+ Samsung E5 10-bit LTPO 2.0 display with a refresh rate of 120Hz for enhanced gaming experience and content playback. The smartphone’s display features a touch sampling rate of 360Hz.
The smartphone features a hole-punch cutout at the top center of the curved display. The iQOO 9 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC under the hood, paired with up to 12GB RAM and up to UFS 3.1 512GB of inbuilt storage. The iQOO 9 runs Android 12-based Origin OS Ocean out of the box.

iQoo 9 Pro is priced at RMB 4,999 (Rs. 58,600) for the base 8GB RAM + 256GB internal storage configuration. The 12GB RAM + 256GB internal storage configuration is priced at RMB 5,499 (Rs. 64,400) whereas the12GB RAM + 512GB internal storage configuration is priced at RMB 5,999 (Rs. 70,300).
